This tarpon is an archival wood print of an original wood burning by Mokie Burns.
The unique reproduction process makes each one look almost identical to the original, printed with a UV-resistant pigment ink.
Using the “Shou Sugi Ban” technique (torched), the edges of the wood print are hand-finished by the artist.
It is then mounted to float off a solid wood frame that's handmade in Florida, giving a fresh & unique take on a classic taxidermy silhouette. Each piece is signed by the artist.
